Anniversary: Kormos
Couple marks milestone

Joseph and Judith Kormos of Milan celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 13 at Weber's Inn in Ann Arbor. They were married Sept. 13, 1956, at Immaculate Conception Parish in Milan.

Their children are Leslie Stuart and Tracy Smith, both of Milan.
The celebration was a surprise gathering of family and close friends hosted by the couple's daughters and their families.
They also have six grandchildren, Kristina, Kelsey, Shane, Brett, Shelby and Jacob. Their oldest granddaughter, Kristina, put together a 30-minute video of pictures throughout their 50 years.
The best man and maid of honor, Phillip and Emily Bowerman, were in attendance.
The couple are lifelong Milanites. Joseph is co-owner of Precision Devices, Inc. in Milan and Judith is a homemaker. Joseph's hobbies are golfing, cooking, sports and history. Judith's hobbies include bowling, reading and traveling up north to their second home in Black River.
