Molly Shelton and Sean Michaels of Milan were married Sept. 2 in an outdoor ceremony at the home of the bride's parents in Port Sanilac.

The bride is the daughter of Napier and Elizabeth Shelton of Washington, D.C., and Port Sanilac. The groom is the son of Susan Winters of Sterling Heights.
The matron of honor was Eleanor Loikits of Ypsilanti Township. Bridesmaids were Libby Dawson of Montreal, Quebec; Debbie Michaels of Ann Arbor; and Krystal Michaels of Houston.
The best men were Kelly Michaels of Houston and Brian McCart of Taylor. Groomsmen were Brian Michaels of Ann Arbor and Drew Foley of Livonia.
Kevin Michaels of Ann Arbor served as clergyman, uniting the couple in marriage.
Ryan Michaels of Ann Arbor, and William and Andrew Dawson of Montreal were ringbearers. Lindsay Michaels of Ann Arbor was a flower girl.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her son, Austin Elam.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Maryland and a master's degree in human resources and organizational development from Eastern Michigan University. She is employed as a human resources manager of CFI Group in Ann Arbor.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree in biology from EMU and a master's degree in business administration from Cleary University. He is employed as a senior contracts administrator with NewVectors in Ann Arbor.
