Paternal grandparents are Wayne and Rose Mary Griffin of Jackson, and the late Peggy Griffin. Madeline has a brother, Joshua, 2.

A daughter, Madalyn Rose Dixon, was born Nov. 14, 2006, at Providence Hospital in Southfield to Stacey (Haskins) and Neil Dixon of Plymouth. Grandparents are Sylvia Walsh of Canton and the late Kenneth Dixon, and Donna and Ken Butler of Plymouth. She is the great-granddaughter of Wavey and Donald Huntsinger of Gladwin.
