The interactive webcast will allow people to discuss strategies for solving global climate problems. It will feature Stanford University professor Stephen Schneider, green jobs pioneer Van Jones and business consultant Hunter Lovins.
The sponsor for the screening is Focus the Nation, a national educational initiative that aims to raise awareness and promote civic engagement about the problems of global warming.
"We see this as an issue for people of faith to work together on with other concerned citizens," the Rev. Ian Reed Twiss, pastor at Holy Faith, said in a news release.
Twiss said Holy Faith hopes to bring together concerned citizens regardless of whether their motivations are religious or ethical.
Located at 6299 Saline-Ann Arbor Road, the church will offer light refreshments starting at 7:30 with the webcast at 8 p.m. and some brief discussion following.
