Does it get any more fun than tug-of-wars, sack races, cookie walks, multi-player Xbox car racing, and Dance Dance Revolution?

Maybe only if you add in bingo, mini remote control car racing, face painting and balloon animals.
Sounds like a winter carnival, which is exactly how the Saline chapter of Destination Imagination is thinking of its first Family Fun Night Friday at Heritage School.
"This is a wonderful, affordable family night out," said Karen Hendershot, a Destination Imagination representative.
Destination Imagination is a program that encourages students' creativity, problem solving and teamwork. Teams of five to seven members work together to apply creativity, critical thinking and their particular talents to solve a "team challenge."
More than 200,000 youth from throughout the world participated last year in local, regional and state tournaments in hopes of winning a slot at the Global Finals.
Saline schools began competing in Destination Imagination tournaments nine years ago. Last year, nine of the 12 Saline Destination Imagination teams that competed in the regional advanced to the state tournament.
The Family Fun Night will serve as a fund-raiser for the group and will include a silent auction of gift certificates and items from local businesses. Pizza and soda pop will be available for purchase from Domino's; 50 percent of the proceeds will benefit Saline Destination Imagination.
Tickets at the door are $7 per person or $25 for a family. Sign up for the event through Saline Community Education. Early tickets are only $5 a person and $20 for a family. Ages 2 and younger get in at no cost.
The event runs from 6:30 to 9 p.m. For more information, visit www.salinedi.org.
