Jamie Wanty and Jonathan Brooks, both of Ypsilanti, are engaged and planning a wedding Sept. 20 at the Ann Arbor City Club.

The future bride is the daughter of Gretchen Elwell, and James and Diane Wanty, all of Ann Arbor. She is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and is employed as a substitute teacher for Washtenaw County.
The future groom is the son of R. David and Peggy Brooks of Ann Arbor. He is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and owns his own business in Ypsilanti.
