Without signaling, the woman pulled into the driving lane. The officer stopped her near the intersection of Michigan Avenue and Hopper Street. A blood-alcohol test showed the woman had a 0.14 percent blood-alcohol level, which is more than the legal state limit of 0.08 percent and is considered legally drunk.

The man went to a bar to watch a hockey game. According to police reports, the woman said he was supposed to be at her house because of a recent death in the family. When he didn't return after two hours, the woman found him at his house and assaulted him with her fists. She also reportedly broke a guitar over the man's head. The woman was arrested for assault and battery.
