A 21-year-old Saline man was arrested 9 p.m. Feb. 25 for drunken driving and evading police. Saline police saw him at a Speedway gas station on Michigan Avenue. He appeared to be drunk, according to a police report.
The officers decided to watch him while he drove. The man did not leave the gas station until the police car exited on Harris Street. The man then left the gas station headed in the opposite direction. Officers turned around to follow. The man eventually turned down McKay Street from North Lewis Street. As he turned, the car spun out, according to reports.
