File of Life is offered for free by the Saline Area Senior Center and Saline Fire Department. The file is a mini-medical history that's placed in a red plastic folder and secured to your refrigerator with a magnet. Emergency responders are trained to look for it.

Monday, April 7

"Golf Enrichment" will be offered April 7 through May 16 by Saline Community Education. The program is for all skill levels for students in kindergarten through sixth grades. It will be held at the various elementary schools in Saline. The fee is $120. Register by calling 429-8000.

Washtenaw County Farm Bureau will host a public meeting 7 p.m. with the Washtenaw County Road Commission at Lodi Township Hall at Pleasant Lake Road, west of Saline-Ann Arbor Road. For more information, call Luther Schaible at 428-9120.

Annual Charity Bowl will be hosted by the St. Joseph Mercy Saline Hospital Auxiliary at Maplewood Lanes, 830 Woodland Drive, in Saline. Tickets are $15 and are available at the St. Joseph Mercy Saline Hospital Volunteer Desk or at Maplewood Lanes. Lunch-only tickets can be purchased for $6. Registration begins at 9 a.m., bowling begins at 9:30 a.m. and lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. All proceeds benefit the hospital's auxiliary. For more information, call Dorothy Vogel at 429-7372. Parents' Resource Night will be held 6 p.m. at Bemis Farms Preschool and Daycare. Parents are invited to learn about Michigan's college savings programs. A representative from the Michigan Education Trust, the state's prepaid tuition program, will be there. The Milan's Woman's Club is offering a $500 education scholarship to an area student. To be eligible, an applicant must graduate in the Milan High School class of 2008, or be enrolled in an accredited school, or plan to continue higher education at an accredited school.
