Joy Faulkner, 54, died May 2, 2007, at Shand's Hospital in Gainesville, Fla., with her family by her side. She was born Aug. 16, 1952, in Ann Arbor.
Mrs. Faulkner graduated from Milan High School in 1970 and took art classes at Washtenaw Community College. She had a talent for all forms of art, and was always painting, drawing, crafting, or walking along the beach collecting sea shells.
She is survived by her husband, Tom; children Amie, Nada and Brooks; grandchildren, Damien, Stone, Justin, Bria and Brice: her parents, Justin and Ruth Dunmire; and her sister, Justine Dunmire.
Cremation and a memorial service have taken place.
