Red Cross Blood Drive will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. at Saline High School, 1300 Campus Parkway. To schedule an appointment, visit givelife.org. Blood donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, be in general good health and present a valid state-issues photo identification or Red Cross donor card upon donation.

A free concert will be held on North Ann Arbor Street between Michigan Avenue and Henry Street. Rattlebox will perform at 6:30 p.m.
Movie in the Park and the Family Campout will take place at Mill Pond Park. The feature presentation of "Happy Feet" will begin at sundown. Activities and concessions will start at 6 p.m. Tents only allowed for camping. Tent permits can be purchased through Saline Parks and Recreation by calling 429-3502.

Pick Up the Pace Saline Walk will be held 9 a.m. starting at the Saline Farmers' Market. The final destination will be Mickey's Dairy Twist.
Great Lakes Pastel Society members will participate in a "Paint Out." The day will be spent painting outside at four selected locations in Saline. "Cycle Science at the Library" will feature experts from Cadence Cycle in downtown Saline who will offer basic bicycle maintenance tips from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Saline District Library. Participants will receive a $2 gift card from Dairy Queen, which can be upgraded to $4 if the teen bicycles to Dairy Queen. To register, call 429-5450.
"Saline History at the Saline Community Garden" will feature Bob Lane, a local historian, as he takes a walk around the garden and shares the history of Saline. The free event will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Woodland Drive west of the one-room schoolhouse and inside the schoolhouse if it's raining.

Saline summer track and field mini-meets will be offered by Saline Community Education. All ages are welcome. Events begin 5 p.m. at the Saline High School track, located at 1300 Campus Parkway, in Saline. Admission is $3 per athlete and spectator. For more information, call 649-2091.

Cross country middle school training camp will be offered by Saline Community Education. Students entering seventh and eighth grades may register for the four-day pre-season training camp. Saline Kids Camp will be offered at the Saline Recreation Center for youth ages 5 through 12. The theme this week is "Cookonomics." In addition to daily swimming, sports, crafts and games, the campers will be taking a field trip to Dominos to make their own pizzas and then to Benny's Bakery to do some baking. Football Youth Camp will be offered by Saline Community Education. The camp is recommended for players who plan to play in the Junior Tackle Football League. "Prayer Flags" has been rescheduled. In honor of Flag Day, area residents are invited to make "prayer flags" from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Cost is $10 per person. There is a $10 materials fee for each set of prayer flags. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The event will be held at 213 E. Michigan Ave. in Saline. Milan Area Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with the Ann Arbor area chamber, Ypsilanti area chamber and Monroe County chamber at the Milan Dragway, 10860 Plank Road.
